Solid Perfume is an independent UK fragrance discovery site. Our aim is to make solid perfumes easier to explore across brands, with clear descriptions of their notes, formats and character.

Perhaps you love a particular spray perfume. Perhaps you always reach for citrus, soft florals or warm vanilla. Those preferences give you somewhere useful to begin.

Discovery built around your taste

Our approach starts with the fragrance notes and perfumes you already love. Exploring those notes helps you understand your taste and gives you a familiar starting point for discovering solid scents.

A guide, not a perfume brand

We don’t make the perfumes featured here. Our focus is discovery across brands. Purchases, delivery and returns belong with the retailer you choose.

Similar notes, individual fragrances

A shared note is a starting point, not a promise of an identical smell. Formulation, concentration and the balance of notes all affect how a fragrance wears. Where available, trying a sample is a useful next step.
